sTabLauncher - DotNET dock launcher

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

sTabLauncher - DotNET dock launcher

#1 Post by bugmenot »

a program launcher like RocketDock {http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=1149}

sTabLauncher:
http://www.stablauncher.com/

This tool helps finding and launching your favorite programs, web pages, folders, or any type of files in a fast and easy way. Taking up fewer resources as possible, and allowing you to personalize the appearance in many ways, by changing colors, images, transparency, animations, and many other options to make it blend in with your desktop.

lifehacker:

Similar to your Quicklaunch bar or Mac OS X's Dock, sTabLauncher is sort of a shelf for applications, files, and folders. You can arrange your items in customizable, skinnable tabs, and adding a new tab or item to a tab is very simple. sTabLauncher is an unobtrusive alternative to the Windows Quicklaunch bar. If you're looking for a different way to launch apps and other favorites, and keyboard launchers like Launchy aren't for you, this could be what you're looking for.

note: somehow i couldn't get in to the site (i got an IP from ISRAEL) so i used this link: http://anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/anon-www. ... ncher.com/

i can't see the images, but i saw it on lifehacker... lol

i think that this soft is portable!?

Applications which require the .Net framework to run are not accepted into the Portable Freeware database.

The .Net platform is:
1) Large
2) not guaranteed to be installed on all Windows computers.

Very old thread update: Hasn't been updated since 2012 but since the dotNET restriction has been lifted, I renamed this thread rather than move it to the non-portable thread.

Latest sTabLauncher is currently v2.2.3 (changelog and downloads at http://www.stablauncher.com/Downloads/).

    • Could you replace the version info in OP with "DotNET dock launcher" or something? Thanks. :)

BTW, latest sTabLauncher DotNET requirement is still only v2.0!
