Quick question: is it possible to normalize (adjust gain) aac files using TAC without transcoding? Right now, it's turning ~92 kbps VBR into CBR when I try to process them... :?:

Thanks SYSTEM.

@Midas, no you can't do it without encoding, TAC runs aacgain after encoding to aac. But it is a nice idea, I can add that. Thanks man! BTW I didn't have time for neroaac path thing, fixes are important so I had to release it without neroaac thing.

Hi!
I'm using TAudioConverter v 0.9.2.2893. x86 version works fine. In x64 version I have a problem with file names (the final name is the temporary name):

Is this a known bug or my settings are off?
Thanks!

Hi,

Well, there is a bug that prevents TAC from renaming output file if file already exists when you extract audio from video. If this is the case, yes I'm aware of the problem but I'm working on TEncoder these days
so I couldn't take a look at it. I don't see how only 64bit can cause the problem, both builds use the same code.

Regards.

No, I'm not extracting audio from video, just converting audio files.
I have found what's causing it: the option "Close TAudioConverter" as a Post-Encode Action.
And yes, it's the same in both x86 and x64 versions, I just had different settings (just this one, but it was enough :) ), sorry for that.

I can live without that option enabled for now, no problem.
Thank you for the quick response (and fix)!
