I'm sharing my launcher for DVD Flick and a guide how to make portable package.


About DVD Flick
-----------------------------------------------
DVD Flick aims to be a simple but at the same time powerful DVD Authoring tool. It can take a number of video files stored on your computer and turn them into a DVD that will play back on your DVD player, Media Center or Home Cinema Set. You can add additional custom audio tracks, subtitles as well as a menu for easier navigation.

System requirements:
* Processor: A Pentium MMX or compatible AMD processor, or better. A Pentium IV or later is recommended, the faster the better. Multithreading is supported.
* Memory: At least 256 MB of free physical RAM, 512 MB or more is recommended. When using Windows Vista, at least 512 MB is required.
* Operating system: Windows 2000 Professional, or any edition of Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7.

About the Launcher
------------------------------------------
* Launcher makes DVD Flick fully portable.
* Supports shell integration of the DVD Flick project files (Launcher.ini).
* Requires admin rights.


Guide
------------------------------------------
* Extract 'DFP_Launcher.zip' to location of your choice (USB,...).
* Download the installer and extract the contents with Universal Extractor.
* Move/copy all folders and files from {App} folder into DVDFlick folder in your portable package.
* Move/copy files from {sys} folder into DVDFlick\sys folder in your portable package.

Use 'DVDFlick(P).exe' in DVD Flick Portable folder to start DVD Flick Portable.

Stupid question (you can always count on me for those.)

Does the ffmpeg.exe file need to be updated
& if so where should one download if from.

It's a good question since DVD Flick's latest version is from 2009.

Let me know if you have any luck running DVDflick with the current version of ffmpeg. I tried it, and got errors. DVDflick seems to be calling ffmpeg with a bunch of parameters, and the newer ffmpeg seems to have changed some of the parameters. I think DVDflick would need an update to use a newer version off ffmpeg.

I updated the launcher.
- Added shell integration for *.dfproj (DVD Flick project) files (dvdflick.ini).
