The Core Pocket Media Player

#1 Post by Bertl01 »

HELLO

Take a look at http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/

Here you find a mediaplayer developded mainly for PALM OS and
Windows Mobile. But there is also a Win32 version.
It does a good job and you can watch divx or xvid movies
on computer without having to install the codecs.

This is a great little application, I run it on my USB drive(s) with films or music on them - great, no trail and no reliance on software being on the PC (great for work where hiding that I'm wathing films at lunch...!)

Interesting, but MPUI beats it as far as "no reliance on codecs" goes. Right now I'm actually using Kmplayer (Korean Media Player). Shame it's not portable, but in all reality, it's simply the best media player I've ever used.

@J-P-W

I use it for exactly the same reason.
Watching movies on the PC at work where I
just can not install any codecs.

Nice player. I actually use it for my Palm, but didn't realize there was a Win32 version.

Unfortunately, all settings are written to the Windows registry.
