Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

Save.me (formerly aiClipboard)

#1 Post by aiClipboard »

Hi there

aiClipboard (ai stands for Artificial Intelligence) is a clipboard manager that will remember everything (i.e. files, folders, graphics, texts, URLs, emails) you copied to your clipboard with an easy way to organize it according to your needs. aiClipboard will make your life easier by turning your clipboard into a sidekick that will help you manage, organize and remember... well... everything.

Are you tired of an installation process that you don't know what goes where? No worries. aiClipboard is one small executable file that runs from anywhere, relies on nothing but itself and is fully portable. Just place it anywhere you want and execute it.

Comments are welcome!

Note to all: discrete x32 & x64 versions of aiClipboard are available for download from the website. I'll be testing them ASAP...

Unless is a completely re-written app (it seems not), you've already done: http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/ ... 274#p56274

Hi,

aiClipboard was anyClipboard at its very beginning but as you can see, it came a long way since.
Before posting this topic I searched for aiClipboard in the forum and didn't find it anywhere so I started a topic about it, didn't know anyClipboard was already discussed :)

Anyway, aiClipboard is nothing like anyClipboard so consider it on its own. Thanks :)

I see no info about the license... And are you having any plans of making this app payware in the future? Thanks!

I now updated the main page to say that it's free.

Regarding the future, whatever is free now will remain free. There might be (new) features that will require a (small) registration (fee) but I'm still not there. For now, donations are welcome and will suffice :)

That was then, this is now...

(How was I to guess that http://www.toolilla.com/anyclipboard/ and http://www.aiclipboard.com/ had the same inception?)

In the first post of this forum there is an explanation on how to add a new entry but I can't find this link near my nickname/logout links as explained there, I'm registered for over a week now, am I missing something?

Thanks

Thanks for posting your entry. I haven't tested this program yet, but I edited the entry to be more in line with the PFW format. I also cut mentions that the program is free / portable (since that's sort of implied) :)

Also, how does it fit into "Others - Data Analysis; System - Monitoring"? categories?

Hi webfork,

I guess it's a bit ambivalent. aiClipboard can also collect files that you created/renamed/saved based on an extensions list that the user defined. It's a kind of monitoring your system and allows you to analyze the data you've collected.

Perhaps I took the 2 categories too comprehensively so if I did so, let me know.
