I use FF-Chrome portable versions for webdev and testing, and I also have virtualized IE6-7-8 at hand.

Are you aware of IETester (not portable)?

Yes, I am but stand-alone IEs are more convenient (and perhaps more reliable too, in theory they should not mess with the system IE)

I am a huge Opera fan. Although I continue to evaluate other browsers posted on this site, Opera continues to be my favorite - it just works well for me; speed, features, etc.

BTW, My least favorite browser is and continues to be Internet Explorer.

Currently use 3 browsers.
Opera - used this one for years, usually my first choice.
Palemoon - starting to use this one more heavily. Smooth and fast operation in XP. Use this instead of Seamonkey now.
Greenbrowser - use whenever a 100% compatible IE Browser is needed.

I think Firefox wins if you count in the Mozilla-based, "Other" results! :)

I do use Chromium when I need to check something in a Webkit browser ;)

I was really surprised. Almost everyone I know is switching over to Chrome so I really expected either the Google version or derivatives to be the most popular here on the site. Maybe a tie with Opera.

For all its flaws, I'm still a Firefox user so I was happy to see this.

Firefox usually.
FF extensions:
Most used: google bar lite. And searchplugins. But I've been using httpseverywhere and noscript in my profile.
Nice extension: searchbox sync.
Extensions needed to repair newer versions. Element properties, Bug489729 (Disable Detach Tear off tabs, restore usability)

Disable java starter extension.

Firebug in a profile for that.

Customize, clean up UI and disable leaks with a lot of userchrome and prefs. (userchrome is easier to understand than kmeleon's customization, which is easier than Opera's ini. Both have about:config)

Alternates: K-meleon. Opera is ok, but like FF, newer versions require more fixing. Rarely IE. IE's UI is cumbersome (requires extra clicks, and changing searchplugin starts a search.) Remember to cleanout Searchscopes in registry. Seamonkey just to check it out.

I've tried Srware Iron, Qtweb, Pale Moon. UI are too simple.

Ex-K-Meleon fan myself, but version 1.5x and upward became too much of a maze for me (fun but unpractical) and the development rate turned glacial for lack of devs... :(

Cant believe I am the only one who voted for Chromium.
Chromium does use alot of memory but for me its freaky fast to open and load pages,
which makes it great as a default browser.

I used to love opera but since v10 and up its just sluggish and slow.
Opera is still my #1 choice for a portable browser tho,
its just a great all in one tool.
