Update: I mentioned ManicTime a few entries back. They just recently put out a USB version that I'll test for portability in the next few days.

http://www.manictime.com/download/

Edit: I tested this last night and got some kind of weird error, which if you've been following my last few posts might just be my setup.

Tested TimeSlotTracker. Essentially this is a program that tracks your start and stop time for anything you choose in an organized, tree-format listing. Its simple but that may be exactly what some users are looking for.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/timeslottracker/

1. Download JAR file
2. Run using PortableJarLauncher with Portable Java (see muCommander thread)

Tested: Portable, not stealth. Puts a few temp files in /User/Local Settings/Temp but nothing that appears to contain any settings.

Found another app courtesy PenDriveApps.com:

Time Recording Easy - a very barebones time tracker

Also another article with reviews and portability rundown of each program:

Office Timer is another simple application that falls into this category.

Also cross-platform, which is good if you want to use one tracking method across a few different computers. Thanks.

As freakazoid wrote Toggl has a desktop widget too:
https://www.toggl.com/public/widgets

I contacted them if there is any way to run it portably and they replied:
Toggl wrote:
Yes you can use --user-data-dir command line parameter:

http://www.chromium.org/user-experience ... -directory

As TogglDesktop is based on Chromium source code, this Chromium & Chrome command line flag is supported by TogglDesktop also.

This works, but still not stealth:

Here is my yaP wrapper to fix this issue:

That looks REALLY cool: a time tracking program that plugs into so many other programs and tools makes so much sense. Very nice find.
