What is your largest portablefreeware/etc Flashdrive?
(Not your largest Flashdrive, but the largest one you use for running portable programs.)

This question is practical as the hardware has been changing and dropping in price.

Some Topics on TPFC have put forth the notion that 8gb is the largest practical size, and that
performance issues make larger sizes impractical for running portable software.

(Performance is always a tricky issue so benchmarking software might help and some portable tools are listed on TPFC.)

In the past Flashdrives have been easily available in sizes up to 256GB, though a bit pricey and sometimes slow with USB 2.0

Now huge USB 3.0 Flashdrives are available and prices are dropping on many larger USB 2.0 Flashdrives.

(USB 2.0 Examples a Sandisk Cruzer Glide in 64GB is available for $29.00 on sale, in 32GB for $19.87, and a Sandisk Cruzer Fit in 32GB for $24.99 on sale)
