Instantly alerts you of any .EXE files popping up anywhere on your hard drive.
A nice complement to a multi-layered security setup.

Getting nice reviews on the Wilders security forums.

0.3MB, portable, low footprint, zero-configuration. For Win XP & 7.

Tested: Portable

Didn't work for me on Windows XP SP3. I opened various executables and none were detected by the application.

It suppose to only detect new .exe files. Download one to any location on your HD and the green bars will turn orange.

Didn't test it, but PE Dropper Monitor serves the same purpose, is a little more comprehensive, and also lists a portable version (although, from experience with other NoVirusThanks products, I wouldn't bet on it being stealth).

The application crashes on me (XP SP3) but still finds the time to create:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NoVirusThanks

From the ExeWatch homepage, it looks as though the latest version now supports .BAT and .SCR monitoring as well, and is USB-drive aware. I haven't tested it, though.
