Reading the comments ... partway down, the author says you can "add folders to your search path, you can left click on the first item." Don't suppose it supports relative pathways, does it?

I don't believe so.

Author of Qatapult here :

There is nothing done specifically to allows for relative path, to this day it should works. If you have interest in it and it doesn't work at some point, just ask and I'll try to fix it.

Also, the settings dialogs only shows a small part of Qatapult, you might read the donationcoder thread to configure some little things.

Tested the program out. Fast, good looking, and simple

Problems:

*Couldn't add additional folders. Left-click in the options menu just gave me a "delete" option
* Seems to be stuck on 13% of the index update.

Recommendations:

* Recommend putting a note about the default key combo in the readme

Edit: I tested this on WinXP SP3

@webfork : To add folders click on the left side of where would be the first items as you would do for editing a filename, and it should open an edit field. It's the default behavior of the windows component. I really need to modify that, but I'm working on other features of Qatapult now, but improving settings is becoming seriouly mandated.

The % of update is actually a progression of each source. The longuest source is the network one but I think it might complete eventually. I've the same issue.

@guinness I'm just pleased to share Qatapult with people who appreciate it, that's a soft that I waited someone to write it for so long that I ended writing it in the end.

ecaradec: (assuming you're still working on this program) on the next update, could you add an optional tray icon? I was playing with this recently and couldn't remember the key combo to get it to pop up. I know a lot of users will prefer no icon at all, but the ability would be nice. Thanks!

Update: Here's the ghacks article back in December on the program: http://www.ghacks.net/2011/12/29/qatapu ... r-windows/
