FileMenu Tools, with its new portable version, is in the database now. Although already public, you can find the entry here.

I just want to add a couple of things.
1) If you have FileMenu Tools already installed and want to preserve your configuration, you have to download the last installable version, export the settings to an INI file (from "File/Export Settings"), and place this INI file in the Data folder. Don't change its name (it has to be settings.ini).
2) The self-extracting package already contains 32-bit and 64-bit versions, and the correct version is automatically selected when you register the shell extension.
3) Since FileMenu Tools is extremely versatile, I included it in only one category to avoid cluttering the field.

Two notes for those who are addicted to the context menu:
-The Pack to Folder function is identical to that provided by Files 2 Folder, developed by Jody Holmes (Skwire Empire) (and I wonder who had the original idea).
-And the Unpack Folder function is very similar to what LevelZap does.

It also leaves the registry entry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\LopeSoft

If you remove the "\Data\settings\FileMenuToolsSettings.ini"
you dont get the warning from the launcher tho.

Edit: Seems like a link to the PortableApps.com page should be included in the DB entry some where.
You link to Lopesoft website but downloading a PortableApps.com archive.

Thanks, you're right. I made a procedural error in my test (and now I realized what was the mistake), and as a result the registry key passed unnoticed.
Sorry for the misinformation, I'll update the entry and try to contact the author about this problem.

I don't think so. I can't link to PortableApps.com when the package is exclusively provided by LopeSoft.
The only reference to PA.c in the LopeSoft's page is:

FileMenu Tools Portable is compatible with launchers: PortableApps.com and CodySafe. Therefore it is visible automatically in the app listing of these launchers.

Sorry I thought some one from PortableApps.com made the launcher,
there is usually a description page for their releases.

The Pack to Folder function is not exactly like Files2Folder.
The FMTools function is exactly like Files2Folders' multiple file selection pop up.
It would be much better if it did work like that :)

Version 6 has added alot more functions too

I noticed they also extended the attributes function to include a toggle switch
for viewing hidden files,As well as added copy UNC pathes and URL pathes
I have always used MoonSoftware's Shelltoys for these.
If he adds a filenote feature I can dump MoonSoftware's Shelltoys altogether. :)

Also new is Send to Mail recipient and calculate and verify checksums.

Lautrepay how does KuShellExtension compare to FileMenuTools?
I seen it in the private section and it sounds very similar.
