Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.
a tiny color picker that gives you RGB, HEX, HSB, and CMYK for any pixel on the screen. clicking a value copies it to the clipboard. includes a magnifier to pick out the right pixel. the view can be frozen, and the window can be made to stay on top.
I can confirm this one's portability; it writes settings to cPix.ini in the same folder as the executable. It also works on Win98SE.
Its only flaw is you can't set cPix.ini to read-only or the program can't close (when it fails to be able to write to cPix.ini you get an error message and the program doesn't close). Just means you can't effectively use ColorPix from a CD, for example.
Good program though; it's magnificatioon is particularly well done for getting specific pixels.
