Googled this site and nothing has been mentioned/posted about Kalender for a year so:

I run Kalender one directory, many OS's (multi-boot), nice program, thank you.

Yesterday I had a hard crash, on a reboot I was showing a date of 2003, Lost
the Trial version of Nod and Kalender is now red while it sits in the systray
(normally it's white with blue graphics).

Kalender also showed 2003 when it started. Everything seems ok, all entries are intact.
I've run it backwards through the months if an event wanted to pop up; None did.

I've scanned the help file, no help.

Why would it be red?

It's been updated since I installed it last (2.2.2.1) I updated by copying the zip file into
the directory to version 2.3.1.1 no change.

Did you check your system time? Might have been changed /reset after the crash.

If you got a to-do entry (not a normal reminder) pending (which would be logical, if your date reverted to 2003) the tray icon changes to a red color. Anyway, you could also check and reset tray icon settings under Options > Tray-icon.

Yes, the system time was affected. It was my fault letting it go as far as it did.
A text message said the system time was off when turned back on. I should of
just gone into the bios and changed the time, no OS would of known.

I'm using a bluetooth keyboard, it takes some time to set up - (Not a normal
part of the system). I have a cabled keyboard setting a ways away,
I just reached over hit the enter key twice, rather than try to find the F2 key.

For future reference, a hard crash usually/normally resets the system time.
Used to be (AT) to the date the Bios was first programed. My Bios date is
2-14-05 (seriously).

Thank you, that was what it was.

I had three, one complete, two in the future (in fact one was set for today). I just checked them as complete and all is normal again.

There is a "reset event dates" under extras, but I didn't want to mess with that option, and mayhaps clear all the events (yes I do have backups).
