hello all,

I have a question about regshot. Im not sure I understand how to use it. this is what Im doing to see if a program is writting to the registory.

first the app im testing with is a game called Pocket tanks. by BlitWise Production.

i first run regshot then click on that shot button. it do it;s thing and when it done I run pocket tanks alt tab to regshot and click on shot2. it then finishes and gives me an output of whats been wriiten. is this the correct way on using this app?

Generally you're going to want to use the app, change settings and exit, THEN take the second shot with RegShot. Usually registry values are changed on the spot, but there are also read/write to %windir% and %appdata% that sometimes get postponed until program termination. Make sure though, that you change some settings while "testing" the application.
