Wesnoth 1.6 - installer can now install portable version
The installer includes a "store userdata in the install location" option, which makes a portable version. You can select a checkbox to avoid making start menu shortcuts.
The "How to Extract" section should be updated, especially since, if you do extract it, there's no longer an "app" subfolder.
