Foxit Reader - PDF viewer

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

Foxit Reader - PDF viewer

[Moderator note: this is the primary Foxit program thread. View database entry]

Unless I'm mistaken, Foxit Reader 2.2 now appears to be payware,
at least it now has a "register" option...

If you register Foxit Reader, you get the Foxit Reader Pro Pack
Don't register and you can continue to use the freeware version

But you can also choose to download an older version of Foxit Reader:

Foxit portable pdf reader & url of huge portable fw data

I found this while looking for the portable version of Foxit PDF reader, a PDF reader that is much better than Adobe. Foxit opens a pdf file very quickly and doesn't slow the pc down while you're using it. After I tried Foxit, I installed it on all my pcs and I hope I never have to use Adobe's reader again!

This site has Foxit portable version PDF reader on it, and so much more

This link is to the Foxit PDF reader.

I think it's the same like this one, which is already in the database.

As a matter of fact, it is currently listed on the Homepage under Popular titles as the number one most Popular App on the site.

This new release doesn't save registry keys?

No it doesn't. Saves as a local INI file.

Foxit or the launcher?

Foxit most certainly does.

@Local: Foxit V3 no longer writes settings to the registry but to a local INI file, so it doesn't require the launcher any more. I have previously updated the database entry to reflect this change.

Ahh, my mistake, I didn't look for the settings themselves.
I assumed the registry keys contained them, they're just empty keys now.
