Can't reply with Firefox

#1 Post by Kermode »

Anybody come across that problem? I can't reply to any threads here with PortableFirefox, it just returns me to the Index - I have to use MSIE if i wish to make a reply.

How's this look?
One reply with portable firefox.

To tell the truth all of my posts on here have been with it.
Have you checked your settings? you seem to be having a lot of problems with this site today

There's a problem with logging in, I thought it happens only to me... You have to login (server will log you out immidiately), then login again. You can reply now. The strangest thing is that logging in sometimes works correctly...

What are you talking about?

There is a design problem which has been there ever since whoever made this board made this board, but I have just this one functional problem (the first time i ever tried to reply in firefox). And now when i try to reply for the second time it appears to be working.

When you login to http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums it redirects you to http://portablefreeware.com/forums (notice the lack of www).

The cookies for www.portablefreeware.com and portablefreeware.com are separate, so when you get redirected it doesn't think you're logged in yet/anymore.

Queue, you're the man! Thanks for pointing this out!

I have updated the main site to point to "http://portablefreeware.com/forums" instead, so this problem should be resolved.

If you have an existing bookmark that still points to "http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums", you might want to update it.
