@donald
Thank you for the submission. I voted for it. Perhaps Tiper is the oldest program (released on 2003.06.25) I am currently using. If only someone was able to produce some more sound schemes. I like the Yahoo one best and this is the first time I like anything containing the name Yahoo.

Excellent idea, billon, thank you!

In short- how to use AkelPad Sound Scheme with Tiper:
  • Download AkelPad Sounds plug-in (Sounds.zip) from AkelPad plug-ins page - direct download link.
  • Extract the archive to a folder of your choice.
  • Go to Sounds sub-folder inside Plugs folder (it contains 4 sound files- Char.wav, Delete.wav, Movement.wav and Return.wav).
  • Rename Sounds folder to AkelPad and put AkelPad folder in sound folder inside Tiper program folder.
  • Rename the sounds as follows:

    Code: Select all

    Char.wav - letter.wav
    Delete.wav - backspace.wav
    Delete.wav - space.wav
    Mocement.wav - bell.wav
    Return.wav - enter.wav
  • Restart Tiper, right-click Tiper tray icon, navigate to Choose Sound Scheme and select AkelPad.
Note that Tiper native sound files backspace.wav and space.wav are the same so Delete.wav should be copied two times and renamed to backspace.wav and space.wav accordingly.
