Re: SoftPerfect Network Scanner V4.4.1
Checker,
Andrew said yesterday that one reason for allowing direct editing was to reduce traffic in this forum. It also seems more confusing to me if you both post to to the forum and edit the entry. I suppose that if people want to know what's new, they can go to the website. If there's a major update and you want to list the new features, you can post it here and note that it's already been updated in the database (I didn't realize until I read it for the third or fourth time while writing this response that "is now on V4.4.1" was meant to indicate that the entry was already updated).
I was going to suggest to Andrew to make a "What's new in the latest release" entry in the database, but I think it would just add more clutter than utility.
I really appreciate all the work you put into notifying us of updates.

O.K., I will stop posting to this forum
I already deleted more than 350 of my postings to save space for "more complex discussions"

Re: SoftPerfect Network Scanner V4.4.1
I actually like Checker's "What's new" posts in the forum.
I like ashghost's idea for adding a what's new field in the TPFC listings... I'm going to cross-post this idea to the "Editing Features" thread to reflect these ideas.

is it stealth?

Thank youfreakazoid wrote:I actually like Checker's "What's new" posts in the forum.
But I think it's not/no more wanted ... so I will stop posting updates here
In this case I agree with ashghostfreakazoid wrote:I like ashghost's idea for adding a what's new field in the TPFC listings... I'm going to cross-post this idea to the "Editing Features" thread to reflect these ideas.
