Almost forgot about this one; quickly made JPE launcher for version 3.6:

  • Your App folder should contain these files (extract them using UniversalExtractor; they are inside $INSTDIR folder):

At first start, disable this option:

Otherwise your images folders will be filled with these kind of files:

Hope it helps!

Finally sat down and tested this. Works great. Would like to use this for the default entry.

UniExtract wasn't working on the latest version. Has anyone else tested?

I had no problem uniextracting V3.6.3.

Where did you download it from?

Photoscape is packed with Nullsoft NSIS-Installer... You need to either update Universal Extractor or use 7-zip to unpack it.

Hi there, PhotoScape v3.6.3 saves the following files in User folder:
favorite.lst
phoobj.cfg
photoscape.cfg

Can we override the program so it saves these files in its own folder?

This took me a while to get back to, but thanks: 7-zip did the trick.

While trying joby_toss jauntPE launcher for PhotoScape, I found a portable package of the latest version (3.6.3) listed on SoftPedia:
http://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTABLE-S ... cape.shtml

Since it makes for a smaller download, is anyone aware of a downside for it?

Also, is it possible to rename the 'PhotoScape_jauntePE.ini' file?
