Re: Photoscape 3.4
Softpedia's definition for portability is limited to "not having to go through the installation procedure". That's why many "portable" packages from them are not really portable.
Ini's name has to be the launcher's name with "_jauntePE" suffix.Midas wrote:Also, is it possible to rename the 'PhotoScape_jauntePE.ini' file?

Oh, I get that -- I didn't make myself clear, then: I meant as an alternative for filling the App folder, instead of the (Uni)extracted installer...I am Baas wrote:It's not portable. Settings in AppData.Midas wrote:What?

Glad it does!
Is anyone here really using this app for productivity purposes? I can't really find a feature I can't live without... And it saddens me as it seems like a nice app...

Re: Photoscape 3.4
I like the "Antique Photo" frames that came with the recent updates. I think I will use sooner or later. Otherwise I use a simpler imaging application (IrfanView) or a more robust one (Photoshop, Fireworks) and PhotoScape is somewhere between them.
Re: Photoscape 3.4
I occasionally use the "Page" and "Combine" features. As for the editor, I do like and use the "Object" feature.
Re: Photoscape 3.4
v3.6.5 is out ... softpedia did a big post for them on at least their Windows front page, which I was very pleased to see:
