Here we go: the version I tested can be listed as an alternative to the latest-and-greatest for Pre-XP systems.

I would prefer not to put in the entry that the program works for operating systems the main site doesn't list. We might add a note that its functional, but not officially supported.

TheSage 4.0.0.0

Just tested the portable mode, seems to work okay. If anyone can verify, I'd be happy to modify the entry with new instructions.

Disk: 18.6 megs
RAM: 10 megs

So should we switch it over to the install-based portable system or use the UniExtract method?

Extraction does not work well in this case. You will get an error about DB files missing when trying to run TheSage. Running the installer and selecting "portable mode" is the way to go.

Sounds good. I'll update the program and instructions in the next few days.

Posted the latest version (4.5.1784) with updated screenshot and a note about 64-bit.

Thanks. BTW, the installer requires admin rights.
