Why was PEStudio's database entry at TPFC updated from version v8.51 ➟ v8.49?

The latest version is 8.54.

Yes, I have seen that thread, still, I do not understand why the entry is not being updated. The latest version is 8.54; it is free and portable. A note can be added explain the changes since version 8.51 and we could even offer a download link... user choice, remember :)

May I concur with Baas' suggestion to restore Pestudio V8.54 download pointer in the main entry ?

For anyone perchance interested in older Pestudio versions,
I have access to a slew of former archives from v6.70 on, dating back to 2013...;-)

Perhaps the users might be given an option to choose between the last fully free version and the latest limited one (I prefer the old but fully functional version).
