I know, that some simple AV programs think, that eToolz can send e-mails. The reason is, that eToolz sends some SMTP commands while checking an e-mail address.

Almost every executable triggers some of those AV engines. Check out the ratings on AV-Comparatives. If the antivirus program isn't highly rated there, or has lots of false positives, don't trust it. I think Ikarus flags just about everything, for instance. The heuristic ones are especially sensitive to programs that do anything that a virus might possibly do.

For my part, if NOD32 flags it, or if several of the better ones like AVG, Avira, and Avast! ALL flag it, then I worry.

I think the only thing Gaijin should be concerned about is that there are viruses named after his app! That seems totally unfair. Heck, I wonder if any of them flagged it just based on the name?

@Gaijin: I tried your time synchronization for the first time just now, and it set my clock 8 hours behind my (Eastern U.S.) timezone (but displays the correct server time). Happens on both my Vista Business desktop and XP Home laptop. I figure this is as good a place as any to report it.

Thank you, I have found the problem.
In the next version it should work correct.

Gaijin, this time it set my computer's clock 8 hours behind instead of 5, despite displaying the correct server time.

I think I see what happened - the latest file date in the archive your download links points to is July 10, 2008.
