Siren (advanced filesystem renamer)

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

In software descriptions I don't see anything about the supported OSs.
(I don't speak only about my software).
Don't you think it could be an interesting information ?

Sorry if my remark wasn't correct (I was thinking about GNU/Linux).

But the information displayed are not right :
- It runs under GNU/Linux 32/64 bit too (GTK2)
- It needs a Windows version >= XP (even Windows 8 )

It was just a comment, it is not a real problem.

Siren 3.01

Version 3.01 is mainly a bug fix release :
- Correction of a bug in the date modifier "add time to date" part
- New information extracted from png files
- Minor modifications

Siren 3.11 has been released today. It is listed here.
It mainly fixes bugs and brings a few minor modifications.

Siren 3.12 has been released today.
It is listed here.

The updates are :
* Bug : File copies can remain after a failed rename operation
* Bug : Crash during the "expression testbed" window opening if the "immediate recomputation" preference is set
* Change in : Preferences/New name computation/Characters/Replace characters
If "From" is longer than "To" the last character of "To" is used
+ New option in the "View" menu to specify the visualisation window placement
+ Expression testBed : new button to replace "current names" with the ones of the selected files
