Re: Dexpot V1.5
I made a rapid test of it and seems to be a good software.
Re: Dexpot V1.5
Love this program (easily the best virtual desktop software on the site) but consistently had problems with this program across three separate Vista machines (32bit Ultimate and Home Basic).
Re: Dexpot V1.5
V1.6 beta is now available, though bare in mind this is beta so no Portable version is available and I haven't attempted to try and test the installation package.
For a long time now I've been hearing great things about Dexpot but having only downloaded this twice and receiving an error message each time I just put it to one side. Though finally today I decided to investigate and the problem was not having the Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime files installed, which I thought I had but clearly no other application I uses requires them. So the fact I had to install additional files can this be classed as 100% Portable?

Re: Dexpot V1.5
Considering it's probably a dependency on a single file, won't Dexpot run if you place msvbvm60.dll (and register it, if need be) inside its program folder?guinness wrote:Today I decided to investigate and the problem was not having the Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime files installed, which I thought I had but clearly no other application I uses requires them. It might work, can't really test it now.
