Revo Uninstaller

#1 Post by taotra »

Has anyone noticed this:

It seems that Revo Uninstaller (best uninstaller in my view) is not compatible with x64 Windows. It doesn't identify 64-bit software. Also, after I ran Revo the first time on Windows 7, all the software installation dates changed to 01.01.1601.

That's something you'll need to take up with Revo's people. Their site claims 64-bit compatibility on both free and pro versions: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uni ... nload.html

I think you're wrong, Webfork.
The free version does not offer x64 support.

@#$%

Yep, free is non-64-bit. Dunno how I missed that.

I think M^(2) pointed out in a recent thread that one of the types of applications that has problems in 32-bit are uninstallers.

Edit: Here's the recent thread I mentioned.

Argente Utilities offers a nice x64 alternative (also for uninstaller).
