I had a problem with texts from Zefania XML Project, for example the Swedish bible version from 1917. Those files need to be converted with The Word Importer, that won't run portable.
The only solution I found was to download and standard install The Word beta version 3 and The Word Importer. Then I downloaded the Zefania texts I needed, and converted them with The Word Importer. But instead of converting them with the installed beta 3 as target (default), I converted to the portable version 2 on my USB stick.
After that I uninstalled the beta 3 version (and The Word Importer) and now I have all the bible texts I want on my USB stick.
Is there a way to convert files from Zefania XML Project without installing The Word/The Word Importer?
