Hi, folks.
I have been looking over the site and its forums and got wondering if Portable Freeware accepts freeware in languages such as Javascript and Flash?
I have seen some Javascript pages that offer impressive capabilities. Since such programs run in a web page, they are virtually platform independent and don't require an install program or registry manipulation. And if a person downloads the source code, they can be run offline too.
And the same can be said for some Flash programs I have seen.
I am sure other codes offer the same features.
However, I have not seen any statements on this site indicating explicitly whether or not, say, Javascript programs would be accepted. Would they?
Regards.

Thanks for the info. That rules out many of the freewares I was considering suggesting. Maybe I will mention them in the "Resources & Links" forum. I do know of a couple standalone programs that are good-quality and free, but they are console programs or they add a key to the registry.
