You're likely missing the VC runtimes. If it's your own system, you can install them from the installer within the package. Or you can wait to see if the publisher updates to the version I sent over with it bundled.

Downloaded Dec 28.2020 i get some warnings from Norton 360, all .dll and .exe are deleted

downloaded today again without warnings
seems a bit strange to me

Thanks for the additional detail. Unfortunately I couldn't verify the status as the Virustotal check for that file comes up fully clean, with 0/65 engines reporting it as clean: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/2a9 ... /detection

I retested the ZIP version described in my VirusTotal report above and unfortunately the program has basically become a non-portable "no-install" program. There are also several frustrating steps around the MS Redistributable install (for example, you must install the 32-bit version regardless of your OS version), so I opted to move to the PortableApps version of winLAME. As is our policy, if we can determine a reliable way to make the official version work portably, I'll switch the entry back.
