Update Freezer

#1 Post by Rudy5 »

A: Update Freezer is a one-click way to:
- Download;
- Disable updaters (Freeze);
- Enable updates (Unfreeze).

It is true that most vendors describe procedures of disabling updates in the documentation. Our goal is to allow doing that and let you recover updates back if needed all in one click.

Great suggestion.  If you're doing tech support, this seems like this is step 1 to avoid sudden and annoying machine / software restarts, outside of just routine maintenence.  It also might further spell out what's causing problems if this program shows how updates have been disabled.

Tested this out today and it seems to work fine, though it couldn't detect my Firefox settings. Also it looks like there haven't been any updates to this in a few years... has anyone tested with Win10?
