How exactly do you get GTK for 9x/NT versions? Go here: http://www.gtk.org/download-windows.html?

PChat will not work with older versions of gtk unfortunetly since I make use of the latest (at the time of 1.0.3's release gtk version 2.16) and 1.0.4 will be using gtk 2.20 so by far win98/NT support will never happen, why use a dead obsolete operating system, it's like asking for trouble security wise to me, anyways PChat support works currently with Windows XP (possible 2000, but I don't have a copy of that to test) and higher.

Spoke with the PChat dev yesterday who reported there was some issue with saving settings and that a fix should be issued soon.

that PChat dev would be me the ex moderator for portablefreeware :P but yes I'm working on fixing a majority of small issues that seeming related to the gtk runtime and something in the settings.c source file.

thanks, but regarding the small issues, let's just say I'm not too fond of the gtk runtime on windows, I'm spending more time trying to bug fixes rather than the new 2.0 codebase :/
