Windows Club utilities

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

Windows Club utilities

#1 Post by JohnW »

Some might have seen my post on FixWin which I regarded as a significant utility as it included what I thought were some unique features.
It has occurred to me that some might be interested in other programs distributed by Windows Club.

The following 4 apps re-register files associated with the stated programs following a problem
FixIE (Internet Explorer)
FixMSE (Msoft Security Essentials) requires .NET Framework
FixWMP (Windows Music Player)
FixWU (Windows Update)

Ultimate Windows Tweaker: over 150 tweaks!
This was mentioned in a previous post by Ameri-CAIN

Windows Access Panel: easy access to "difficult to find" Windows apps.

Quick Restore Maker: on-click Restore POints

Handy Shortcuts: creates desktop shortcuts to often used Windows utilities.

All are stated to be portable and probably meet PFC's criteria (bar FixMSE)

There is another one that interests me - GodMode Creator. Not sure if it's portable; hope someone might tell me!

All are found on ...

Code: Select all

I like FixWin, you know that you can add to the database!
