Currently a bit of a problem with this player. The dev doesn't appear to be updating the zip distro: it's currently stuck at 2.9.9.16 when 2.9.9.20 is the latest.

Dev has been contacted.

The zip is usually a few days behind the exe, I got 29920 (zip) on the 18th, it still shows 29920 is available here - http://www.youtubedownloaderhd.com/download.html

The extracted exe shows 29920 as the version number...? According to CHK checksum utility, here's the size & md5 of the zip I downloaded...

Complaints about 3D Youtube Downloader got me to check on Youtube Downloader HD (thanks Baas). Unfortunately, the setup version appears to include adware (softpedia also has it listed as adware). This is in stark contrast to claims made on the website:
Youtube Downloader HD for Windows is a completely FREE Software. It contains absolutely NO ADWARE, NO SPYWARE, NO REGISTRATION, NO POPUPS, NO MALWARE or other unwanted software.
A note has been added to the entry to avoid confusion.

Someone in the entry comments asked about Chrome listing the latest version of Youtube Downloader HD as malicious. VirusTotal lists it as 0/56 (clean) https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/6eb5 ... /analysis/

I was going to say that Chrome would of course list a Youtube downloader as malicious (both owned by Google). However, VirusTotal is also owned by Google. *shrug*
