I gave it a quick glance and it seens to be portable.
The registry it writes to I beleive is normal for explorer.
If anybody could confirm it would be great.

WinFF is a GUI for the command line video converter, FFMPEG. It will convert most any video file that FFmpeg will convert.
WinFF does multiple files in multiple formats at one time. You can for example convert mpeg's, flv's, and mov's, all into avi's all at once.
WinFF is available for Windows 95, 98 , ME, NT, XP, VISTA.

*download install and copy all the program files to usb and then uninstall*

Just found a folder in %appdata% so this will need a wrapper. Still not sure about the registry though.

I did a Reg From App of it and it only acessed these registrys

Code: Select all

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders
 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MountPoints2\{13f603a0-4c0d-11dc-993a-806d6172696f}

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MountPoints2\{7d557c43-4e01-11dd-ac45-001aa0a3799f}

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MountPoints2\{71ba4299-8a5d-11dd-ac50-001372917291}

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MountPoints2\{13f603a2-4c0d-11dc-993a-806d6172696f}

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MountPoints2\{13f603a3-4c0d-11dc-993a-9b6e0cb526e2}

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\BagMRU"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\Bags\62\Shell"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICache"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\LastVisitedMRU"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSaveMRU\flv"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSaveMRU\*"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer"
cd
It fully works and i'm 90% positive that the registry you don't even have to worry about because it's olny windows explorer when you browse for file locations. i say 90% because i'm no expert, if they do matter a wrapper would be easy to make to fix this.

Not my intention to be a topic hijacker but i think Avanti is a much much better option.
Just take a look and you will understand.

1.5.2 is up, but the WinPenPack version hasn't been posted yet ... changelog so frequently updated in softpedia is unfortunately absent: http://www.softpedia.com/progChangelog/ ... 51824.html
