A couple of free portable games

Xenon 2000, a nice remake of the old classic by the same team.

Star Control 2 writes settings to C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\uqm\uqm.cfg even when using "-C .".

I'm sorry for the ancient bump here, but I'm currently using UQM on a flash drive with the command switch:

It seems to behave itself. Great game to have in the db, IMO.

Very old thread update:

Star Control 2 and http://sc2.sourceforge.net/ and MegaMek https://github.com/MegaMek/megamek projects are both still alive 10 years later. Great to see.

Some of these are really ancient. E.g., read the history of the full King's Quest franchise...
