Avidemux

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

Hi.

About the new "Avidemux_2.7.5 VC++ 64bits .exe" installer (downloaded from https://sourceforge.net/projects/avidem ... mux/2.7.5/ ): I can't extract it (neither with PeaExtractor 1.3, nor with 7zip, uniextract, etc.). Any suggestions? Thanks

Confirmed.

I tried with bioruebe's Uniextractor2. Got the following output from a renamed file:

Code: Select all

Universal Extractor 2.0.0 RC 2b

...\Avidemux_2.7.5_64.exe cannot be extracted.

The filetype could not be determined exactly. Filetype returned was:

Pro Tip: In addition to Avidemux Portable from PortableApps.com being 32-bit plus 64-bit dual mode, it contains unaltered copies of both versions within. The only changes we may make is to add any VC++ DLLs required to run on a clean older version of Windows. You can take the contents of AvidemuxPortable\App\Avidemux64 and run avidemux_portable.exe to run Avidemux in its native portable mode.

Strange.. any idea why it's still 2.7.6 on the official website?

http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/download.html

Even the nightlies are only up to 2.7.7.
