Website: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/recent_files_view.html

Review: http://www.freewaregenius.com/2008/03/2 ... filesview/

Description:

"Each time that you open a file from Windows Explorer or from a standard open/save dialog-box, the name of the file that you opened is recorded by the operating system. Some of the names are saved into the 'Recent' folder. Other are saved into the Registry.
This utility displays the list of all recently opened files, and allows you to delete unwanted filename entries. You can also save the files list into text/html/xml file."

It doesn't display all accessed files by the way, only files specifically accessed by the user.

Writes setting to: none. It does a read-only operation, and it's by NirSoft - I think all of Nir's apps are portable.

How to extract: Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch RecentFilesView.exe

Stealth: Yes

Unicode support: Yes

License: Freeware

System Requirements: Win98 / WinNT / Win2K / WinXP / Vista

Most current versions of Nirsoft's software writes its settings to a .cfg file in the applications folder, older versions used to write to the registry.

Great find, very interesting programing.
