The installer can be extracted but it looks like hassle finding the drivers to me, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Install into sandbox/virtual machine/whatever is your whim.
Copy MSCOMCT2.OCX. MCI32.OCX and MSFLXGRD.OCX to the app folder and you're ready to go.

The website is a bit ugly, but still looks like a pretty feature rich alarm program and its GPL'd. Author stopped developing in '07 but I think it might still be useful.
