BrowseByExt

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

BrowseByExt is a new tool that lets you browse your file system
in a novel, extension-based way.

It's a quick way to find out how many different file extensions
are on your drive, and which are the most prevalent. More features are planned in future releases.

It should be fully portable as of version 1.015.

Get it from https://www.trustprobe.com/fs1/apps.html

Very interesting addition. I'm kind of curious what another column like total file size or maybe average file size would look like.

Very good. I was looking at some of the other solid freeware but I had some questions:

* Could you list a license for all these? Or do you want to just say standard copyright for personal use only? I'd throw in something around "use at your own risk" just because that's what everyone else has.
* Some of the listings could use a bit more detail (what is OSD-style?)
* Screenshots like the one above would be great.
