Shock Utilities

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

Heres some really cool freeware, desktop manager, image,ect.. They all seem to write to settings to an XML/INI file in the application folder.

Great Find portackager, I've had a look through and there are some cool utils there.
I did download one that was archived up as an >Exe .Zip AND Portable wich makes me wonder about all of the others.

Still I'll be trying out a few later to see.

So Far Shock4Way3D Uses the registry but ShockAero3D and ShockSearchlight_Portable (Very Handy) Don't.

Nothing so far uses the file system other than their own xml/ini file
