Hello,

I've just added a new entry (currently in private) about a new program I've written.

Image

Here is its entry's URL :
https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=2933

Here is its main page on my personal site :
http://scarabee-software.net/en/matelefree.html

And the associated description :
MaTéléFree is a video and radio stream player. It uses VLC's libvlc.
MaTéléFree allows you to access a list of known multimedia streams.
They may originate from Twitch, Youtube, Dailymotion, Ustream, direct internet addresses or even a Freebox if you have access to one.
You can create your own playlists based on already identified channels.
There is not predefined limit of the number of simultaneously playable streams.
Two display modes are possible : normal and minimal.
It is available for Windows, GNU/Linux x86 and Raspberry PI.

Note that the channel logos are not part of the delivered zip files.
They are present in a separate zip downloadable directly from my site :
http://scarabee-software.net/en/download.html

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the site. I cleaned up the entry text a little bit, but for future reference, you might want to discuss the topic in forums before submitting to the database. If you can garner interest here, you can more likely get votes to make the entry go live.

Not at all, we're glad to have you.

For programs people on the site have been requesting for some time, it definitely makes sense to submit your program to the database right away. I know I'd *definitely* vote for an easy-to-use video editor for example. For others a post to the forums can be a great way to gauge interest.

As to the changes I made to the entry, that's not a reflection on the quality of what you posted. If you look at the edit history of most entries here on the site, I've done edits to more than half. It's just bringing it into a style and format that a lot of other freeware sites lack.

Thanks!
