FocusOn Image Viewer (
Foni[?]) is a well rounded image utility in briefest testing, focusing in ease of use and online integration with blogs, email, twitter and Facebook. From the start, SVG capability is worth a feather in its cap.
IMHO, with some further tweaking of its interface (see below) it might evolve into a perfect option for the purpose...
Current version is v1.8 -- the first natively portable it seems, according to changelog (see
http://www.pintosoft.com/en/post/foni1.8_en).
BTW, the main download link will only yield the installer; you'll have to click further down on the "
portable" text to get the archives.
Wishlist:
- ability to launch directly into full screen viewer;
- customization of the toolbar (buttons shown/order, small/large icons, text labels/tooltips);
- customization of thumbnail viewer backgrounds...

Shame this tool does not display
Exif|IPTC metadata as well. Until it does, I'll gladly stick with good ole

Could you resize the screenshot to fit the customary page width, Pretty Please ?

Shift+I" alone uncovers several nifty, intuitive functions :
- Adjust (Manual) Brightness | Contras | Gamma | Color temp | Red | Green | Blue
- Filter Auto-Adjust | Sharpen | Blur | Monochrome | and more...
- Text Insert any text and move it at will within an image
- Exif Display full exif metadata
Also, the file selection pane includes a "Text-filter", very handy for quick file lookup
(would have preferred a case-insensitive search, tho...)
All in all, a most valuable trove in a long while !

Wonder if anyone else noticed
FocusonImageViewer keeps creating multiple
"magick-1.*" files
differentiated by a seemingly random string extension, such as:
- magick-1.357720872715uAQFXpJLu8iL
magick-1.357720872715-_HQgUZFQGTx
magick-1.357720872715v6mRBqgoN2j_
...
Magick-1.* files generation seems to be triggered after the "Text" function (under SHFT-I)
has been used to enter character strings into an image, which is later saved.
Can anyone confirm ?

Just exchanged email with
FocusOn Image Viewer (FIV) developers, who assured me that those funny
"magick-1"
files are merely a side-effect of using ImageMagick built-in library, and can be safely deleted after
FIV ran.
I also submitted a few suggestions,...which they promptly agreed to implement in an upcoming
FIV release !
1 -
"Text-filter" search bar: option to make the Text search
case-INsensitive
2 -
"Add text to image" edit tab: option to save modified
Font/Color/Size attributes
3 -
"View details" files selection main panel:
- option to save modified columns width/positions
- add a new column to mark every file containing EXIF metadata with a CameraEXIF tag
(shades of
imagine...
)
Wait and see...

...only to be rescued in the nick of one NYC microsec before hitting SEND,

Colour me perplexed, but I, for one, don't really get it...
The inline "CameraEXIF" tiny tag image in my above post dated 16 Nov 2017 21:01 is not clickable,
it is merely displayed as a tiny icon, on my system, at least. (works the same under XP an Win7, BTW)
Do I understand correctly your screenshot warning message is produced as a result of clicking my post "CameraEXIF" tag ?
On the other hand...
Considering two code snippets extracted from:

One can see that
- clicking URL#1 does correctly display the expected tiny image
- clicking URL#2 does indeed display your warning message
Now, the question is :

Nope, just displaying it suffices...
The answer to this riddle is simple:
tinypic.com doesn't support direct https linking, while
postimage.org does.

If you connect to a page with some resources encrypted and not others, some browsers will throw up an error. There are a long list of reasons for this that I realize don't seem to apply to viewing a page about a freeware program. As the tinypic link isn't encrypted, that's something that prompts the error.
