Tweetduck - open source twitter

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

Tweetduck - open source twitter

#1 Post by webfork »

Posted earlier today about this topic because I wasn't optimistic, but here we are with a portable solution. Maybe my least favorite thing about Twitter was the single account focus, so the multiple accounts capability was maybe the highlight.

Requires: Windows 7+, and .NET Framework 4.5.2 or newer

Status: Portable, writes to "portable\storage" (stealth status untested)

Steps: Download the self-extracting "portable" EXE and launch Tweetduck.exe

License: MIT

This is a pretty good replacement for Tweetdeck,
I really can't tell much difference in the two.

Don't like the way videos are played other than that
I can't find much else to complain about.

The first TweetDuck version I tested was 1.8 and it was in my submission list. The program is not bad at all but the developer is a complete idiot, he is one of the two developers who deleted my GitHub comments (the other one was the developer of CuteTorrent, another program am no longer interested in)- I cannot stand such attitude so I dumped TweetDuck for good. Anyway, Twitter is a vicious censorship monster (many of the people I follow got their accounts banned) so I would suggest Gab as a censorship-free and ads-free alternative.
