To extract: Run the installer, choose to install to a portable device, and set the install directory as desired. On first run, click on Configure preferences, and set the default files folder to a relative path (e.g., ./Files) if required.

Not entirely stealth: it uses the GTK file chooser, which stores its settings in the registry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\GSettings\org\gtk\settings\file-chooser, and also creates an empty directory at %LOCALAPPDATA%/gtk-3.0. But the program itself, as long as the portable mode is selected during install, keeps all its settings in its own directory.

Thanks for the info -- it can help making HomeBank stealth with a simple cleaning REG file.

Code: Select all

REGEDIT5

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\GSettings\]
