Abee CHM Maker is a program for easy making CHM-files.

Abee Chm Maker is payware, but there is last freeware version (1.3):

Of course old (2004), but works good, at least on XP.

Download archive with installer (~1.3 MB), open installer with e.g. 7-Zip, all needed files in \ChmMakerSetup.exe\data\Main\0\ directory.
Settings in application folder, portable/stealth.

Thanks for posting. I thought EPUB would replace CHM (they're very similar) but it just hasn't happened yet. Tools like this are still very helpful.
