Portability
If installed, Free MD5 SHA1 Verifier writes to Windows registry (uninstall information), but if the installer is extracted the program does not write to Windows registry- it saves no settings.

Instructions
  • Download the installer (freemd5sha1verifier.exe);
  • Extract the installer to a folder of your choice (both 7-Zip & Universal Extractor 2 managed to extract it);
  • Delete $PLUGINSDIR sub-folder and uninstall.exe.nsis if you have used 7-Zip, or Additional files sub-folder (containing $PLUGINSDIR sub-folder and uninstall.exe.nsis) if you have used Universal Extractor 2;
  • Run the executable (hashtool.exe);
  • Free MD5 SHA1 Verifier saves no settings;
Requirements
Free MD5 SHA1 Verifier runs on all Windows versions from Windows 2000 to Windows 8.

100% Freeware! Free for personal and commercial use
Note
Free MD5 SHA1 Verifier works just fine under Windows 8 no matter that it is not listed among the supported versions of Windows.
