This post mostly covered how the software went an adware route. In fairness it looks like he backed off the adware thing but I've just been burned by this topic too many times. I definitely might dig through some of the programs there but episodes with Serva, Marxio, AutoclipX, and others really makes me want to focus on devs who are focused on freeware.
