JFX Konwerter is a Java-based unit converter which supports 14 categories (Area, Currency, Data, Date transfer rate, Energy, Length, Mass, Number bases, Power, Pressure, Temperature, Time, Velocity, Volume).

JFX Konwerter is very easy to use JavaFX-based unit converter.

Portability
JFX Konwerter is portable and stealth by design- all data and settings are saved in a DB file (resource.db) inside program folder.

Instructions
  • Download the ZIP archive (JFX.Konwerter.zip).
  • Extract the archive to a folder of your choice.
  • Run the executable (jfxkonwerter-1.1.0.exe).
Requirements
JFX.Konwerter requires Java:
The application requires Java 8 or above to run and is ready to use after unpacking it into your disk directory of choice.
License
JFX.Konwerter is licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0.

Note
If you plan to update JFX.Konwerter in the future better rename the executable from jfxkonwerter-1.1.0.exe to just jfxkonwerter.exe for convenience (shortcuts in program launchers).
My explanation for the name- JFX KonWerter- it seems that the Polish alphabet lacks V letter which is substituted by W letter.

Very interesting but why does the interface have a number pad? Is that for mobile interfaces?

JFX Konwerter at version 1.2.0, changes:
  • New units
  • Possibility to show the application window always on top of other windows
  • The previous window position is now restored when starting up the application
  • Bug fixes

Very interesting but why does the interface have a number pad? Is that for mobile interfaces?
You can use the number pad in stead of the keyboard to enter data with the mouse.
