I did not find in the forum a post discussing Mihov Gallery Creator ( https://www.mihov.com/sw/en/gc.php ), a handy little tool for creating web photo / picture albums.

Mihov Gallery Creator
- has been around since 2002
- license: freeware
- is a very small application (630 Kb)
- consists of one file and a help file
- no installation
- runs fine under Windows 10
- the GUI has the look 'n feel of the 2000 era (Oh nostalgia!)
- portability: there are traces in the registry, but these traces could be left by Windows (???)
- can only process the jpg family and gif formats
- creates for the selected images a collection of html pages and thumbnails that are stored in the folder containing the images
- it is then possible to create elsewhere e.g. on the hard drive or on a server, a folder of a mini website consisting of: a) the selected original images b) the thumbnails, and c) the html pages

Note: there are many applications of this type, but I found this one is remarkable because overall it is a very small and simple application that works well if that is all you need.
